How To Make An Offer

Step 1: Potential Bidder must fill out a prequalification form.

To bid or purchase a real estate property you must first complete the online prequalification form, or mailed-in version. This first step is provided at no cost to you. When you register by filling out the prequalification form, this information will be used throughout the purchase process. Each question must be answered on the prequalification form; anything else will be considered nonconforming and disqualified from the process. This information is maintained on a secure server and will not be shared without bidder's approval.

Please note: a credit card may be required to confirm you are of legal age to begin the process to purchase an asset. Again, there is no charge for step 1.

Step 2: Property Information Package (PIP).

The next step is to order a Property Information Package (PIP). You must order a PIP for each property you which you intend to bid. Asset information, bid date timelines, environmental, and specific financial information about each asset is contained in a PIP. The PIP will be express mailed to you either on a DVD, hard copy, or downloaded online, depending on the details of the sale. A PIP is available for each specific asset at a cost of 35. U.S. dollars, plus shipping and handling fees, per PIP. With each PIP, you will receive a customer account number (CAN). This number will be required to make an offer.

Please note: The Property Information Package (printed or DVD) simply provides you with pertinent information to place a bid on an asset. Please allow three days to receive your PIP package.

Step 3: Place your Bid

You MUST place your bid before the bid deadline. When you are ready to place a bid, you may do so either through the REGI online bid using the Advanced Technology Platform (ATP), or by submitting your bid in the REGI Confidential Offer Package envelope that is sent with your PIP. In either case, you will be required to list your customer account number (CAN) and your registration e-mail for each property you place a bid. Simply follow the easy instructions with each step in the online bid section, or contained on the bid envelop. Seal the envelope and mail to REGI. Good luck on a successful bid.
